Erika's card

I spent yesterday making cards for the Stitches in Time Craft Expo that's on here in Narromine this coming Sunday & Erika wanted to make her own after seeing me water colouring some roses.
I helped her ink the stamp & open the stamp pads for her but Erika chose the colours she wanted to use & coloured the rose in petal by petal!
I think she did a excellent job- she is only 4!
She wanted to add a second colour
Here is just a short little video of Erika colouring in the rose!
Here is the finished card, Erika chose the card & the ribbon & I tied it around the card. She even ran the card stock through the Big Shot (she often does that for me!!) Please leave a comment, Erika would love to hear what you think of her card!

Craft Room

When we moved house at the end of June, the house we moved into is a LOT smaller than our old house so we weren't able to use the shelves or drawer of my desk anymore. My hubby had built my desk to suit all of my craft things, complete with a pull out drawer to hold all of my "Carl" punches. Because the room we are now using has lower ceilings & is smaller we had to butt Doug's desk up with mine so we left the drawer out otherwise things would get put in there & we wouldn't be able to get them out!
I have been waiting all this time for Doug to build me some new shelves so my stamps had still been packed away in boxes & it was so frustrating not having easy access to them....until now!
I found the white drawers the other week on special & I got 1 as I wasn't sure if it would fit under the desk & without the wheels it just did so I went back & got the last 2. Now I have everything but my punches in them! The only problem is my little "helper" can open them & loves pulling out everything especially the ribbons!

My little "helper"

Tart & Tangy Stationary Set

Here is the stationary set I made for Erin. I used the Tart & Tangy stamp set which is on the retired list at the moment with 25% off so if you would like to add it to your collection call me now to order it before its gone!
I used the summer picnic DSP that originally came out to match the set a couple of years ago now. I decorated a gift bag with some die cut flowers too. The pattern for the stationary box came from Becky Roberts. The colours used are real red, pumpkin pie, bashful blue & old olive.
