It seems like ages since Ive posted anything! I have been so busy. I had my new catalogue launch on Thursday and Sunday last week. The ladies had a great time. For the first time I had set up a candy bar- I've been wanting to do that for a while and was also hoping it might keep Cooper away from the tables (I usually have bowls of lollies on the tables). My plan on keeping Cooper back worked until I looked over and he was sitting on a stool at the bar eating M&Ms with a spoon in each hand!
I had made little fancy favor boxes and I had run the "Betsy's Blossoms" roller along the bottom with lucky limeade and had covered little bull dog clips with the matching DSP to keep them closed! I had also stamped "come stamp with me" on little tags that hung off the bull dog clips.
As they came to the door, they got to choose one of the candy wrapper boxes that I had decorated in the new in colours along with their kits. The person who picked the box with the ferreo rocher inside won a stamp set (inside the other boxes was a lindt ball chocolate!).
I should have taken a photo of all the boxes- these are just some spares I had! We made five different cards all using new products from both of the catalogues.

We hadn't made an easel card before and I thought it might be fun to try it out with the scentsational set and the mug worked really well to hold the card in place when its open!
I was so happy to see this set in our catalogue this year- we finally have the same sets as the Americans! Don't you just love these ribbon slides?
This was one of the hardest ones- I really wanted to try to use all of the new in colours but this summer starfruit yellow was a little outside my comfort zone, but once I paired it with the midnight muse... I loved it! I LOVE the new vintage faceted buttons- arn't they so cute!
It is so hard to get Hershey's products out here so when I saw the minitures the other week in town I changed my card idea to this one! I think its pretty cute, I've seen this idea on Stampin' Connection (a website for SU demonsrators!). I used the new finishing touches edgelits for the table cloth and the new itty bitty banners for the happy birthday banner.
I have some more cards and projects to show over the next little while but I'll put those on another day. I've been busy getting ready for the local craft fair next month (plus mounting all of my new stamps!! One thing about the clear mount stamps- they sure are quicker then wood!!)
