Boxes!

I have a party on this weekend & the hostess would like to see the Big Shot boxes, so I've been having a play today.. what do you think?

Here is the back view & the other side of the petal cone die.

My friend who also happens to be one of my down lines, Kathy loaned me her petal cone die to try out & it is great! I've used the "You are Loved" stamp again but this time I used the calypso coral & poppy parade markers to colour in the flowers & give them a shading effect. I stamped off on the boxes to give a shabby chic look. To finish off the petal cone Ive stamped one of the sentiments from the hostess set "Happiest Birthday Wishes"
The pillow box I punched out the front with the decorative label punch (like what I did at Christmas time) & put a piece of acetate behind & wrapped some of the lucky limeade ribbon from the Sale-a-Bration around it.
Ive used the "Sparkling" roller with platinum shimmer paint & punch out the scallop circle with the silver glitter paper that's in the summer mini. I know it looks a little like Christmas but I just love silver & concord crush together plus I had this roller & cartridge still in my roller handle!!
I love this Sale-a-Bration paper- it's so beautiful especially with the matching ribbon.

There is only just over 1 month left of the Sale-a-Bration. If you would like some free limited edition products please contact me to place an order or book a party. But hurry it will end on the 31st March.

You are Loved

For my Valentines Day workshop we made 2 little milk cartons in a cute little box filled with love candies & a gate fold card. We were able to make it into a friendship card if we didn't want to make it for our hubby!

I really like this set, the flower stamp is so lovely. We used rose red & wild wasabi swm to colour the flower in & also the sentiment on the inside (plus baja breeze & pink pirouette).

A Long Overdue Post!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post- so much for my new years resolution to put more posts up! Oh well, better late than never!
Last month during the schol holidays I held a stationary box workshop. It was the same box pattern that we had done about 2 years ago but since then the Big Shot has arrived & so we re-vamped it!!
I had 4 colours for the ladies to choose from- Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Always Artichoke & Bravo Burgundy. The DSP was the Paisley Petals which looked beautiful.
We kept the designs simple & used one of my favorite layouts. I was able to get all of the designer paper pieces out of 1 sheet per person & heres a little tip: if you stick a sheet of the multi purpose adhesive sheet to the back of the DSP you can then trace the pattern onto the back, cut it out & your designer paper is now sticky backed & is so easy to apply-  the adhesive goes right up to the edges & less glue is needed too!

Baja Breeze

Bravo Burgundy

Always Artichoke

Marina Mist
They all had 4 standard size cards, 4 love notes, 4 gift cards & a removable note pad & stamp pocket.
